Beer 365- #70 Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager
Pours a redish-brown color with a short lived tan head. Nice nose of sweet malt with glimpses of coffee, vanilla and dark fruit. Mouth feel is lighter and crisper than the color would suggest. Really mild toasted malt flavors, slightly sweet but not cloying, coffee notes, a touch of caramel, dry finish but no real hop character. Not unpleasant but not a favorite. (5% ABV)
