Rare Treat: Musar Tasting w/Marc Hochar
I fell in love with Chateau Musar back in 2008. Back then we were lucky to get a vintage or two of only the red wines. Now, due to a change in wholesaler, we carry 13 vintages (8 white, 5 red) of this thought provoking Lebanese libation.

I'm Torn...
To sell or not to sell, that is the question. There are a few wines we get so little of. Most of which I have never experienced, because of their rarity. I guess I won't be too upset if these are still on our racks a few years from now and I have to enjoy them myself.
Sabrage vs TongingI have to say I'm really enjoying my Port tongs. Sabering a bottle of Champagne is fun and exciting, especially when you teach someone new how to do it. But, tonging has the wonderful benefit of being useful, not just "showy". The 25 year old Bordeaux (pictured above) had thrown a ton of sediment over the years. Tonging helped leave almost all of it in the bottle which kept the wine clean and extremely enjoyable.

If It Only Got Better In The Bottle
