When in Rome....
Tried my best to be as Maine-esque as possible. We walked the jetty, ate lots of lobster, and (of course) drank more than a few local brews. I went to Wasses and had one hell of a hot dog, and drank some vintage Kerner.

Home Brew
It was bound to happen. Thanks to a whole lot of encouragement and nudging from @theskinnybeergirl (aka Julia), we're diving into the realm of home brewing. We had a boat load of help from the fine folks at Maltos/Veracious Brewing in Monroe Ct. You gotta love a home brew shop where you're met at the door by 3 friendly retrievers, then shortly after an super nice salesman spends the next 4 hours walking you through the process, giving you a tour of the brewery and tap room (right next door), introduces you to the owners (who spend an hour with you), and then helps you out to the car. I can't suggest visiting these guys more. We'll be heading back there shortly to sample their 8 house made brews on tap.

incredible wines from around the globe. The mix and match possibilities
are endless! Join Julia and Holly as they sample a handful of Ancona's
favorite value vinos on Thursday, July 16. We'll try a few "blind" vs
more expensive wines of the same type. Will you be able to pick out the
more expensive wine versus the $10 wine? We'll also explore some lessor
know varietals such as Glera and Jacquere. This will be a fun event... guaranteed!
