Beer 365- #177 Sierra Nevada Estate*
Pours a nice amber color with clingy, chunky dirty white head. Nose is clean and fresh with pine, citrus hops up front. The malt is there, but well hidden. The mouth is medium in body and has a really nice creaminess to it. The carbonation is just right. Flavors are present but not aggressive. Very well integrated complex hop notes up front (pineapple, citrus, pine) the malt isn't all that noticable but you know it's there, it shows the most near the finish as it fades leaving a nice bitter finish. Very Good! (6.7% ABV)
*Estate Ale is one of the world’s only estate-made beers, brewed with 100% all-natural, hops and barley grown on-site at the brewery in Chico, CA.
