We Are The ChampionsOur charity bocce tournament was a great success. 8 teams battled for the title of "Bocce Champions of Branchville". When it was all over, The Wilton Library (in white) was victorious, narrowly besting the team from Ann's Place (in green) in the championship game. The RidgefieldVFD took third place and the local guys, Branchville Civic took fourth.

Deutsch-A-Palooza
German wine-making icon, Barbra Rundquist-Müller, owner and estate manager of the famous Dr. H. Thanisch Erben Müller-Burggraef estate, was in the house the Thursday night pouring her fantastic Rieslings. The line up included the great Berncasteler-Doctor, from the most hallowed vineyard site in Germany. All the while, Julia poured a smattering of Oktoberfest brews. Can you figure out what beers she opened by their caps?
Bruichladdic Single Malt Tasting - Bring on the Peat!

Our Latest BatchWe went with a DoubleIPA this time. Might have over carbonated it a bit in the keg, but it's settling down nicely. Pretty darn tasty. Nice job Julia! Next stop, all grain brewing.
