Beer 365- #166 Long Trail Harvest Ale
Pours a clear chestnut brown with thin off-white head. An appropriate nose that is warming and slightly sweet, with malt leading the way, hints of brown sugar and smoke are also noticeable. The body is medium and the carbonation slightly reserved. Flavors are again slightly sweet, caramel/chocolate malt notes, an earthiness creeps in near the finish. Nice representation of Autumn in Vt. (4.6% ABV)

Pours a dark brown with hints of ruby, head is thin and quickly disappears. Nose is mostly citrus with hits of malt. Mouth is slightly syrupy, not too thick though, the carbonation is adequate. Nice piney/citrus hops up front with a solid malt spine, the finish is slightly metallic and not very pleasant. (5.1% ABV)

Found this one hidden in the back of my beer fridge

Pours a nice amber color with auburn highlights, thick creamy head. Even with a little extra bottle age this beer shows plenty of life. Nice nose of citrus hops offset by caramel maltiness. Medium bodied with plenty of life left in the carbonation. Taste follows the nose nicely. Pineapple notes up front followed quickly by nice bready malt tones, this finish is bitter but pleasant. Makes me look forward to winter. (5.1% ABV)

Rusty red color with decent off-white head. Thick syrupy sweet nose, a tad bit cloying in my opinion. Medium bodied feel in the mouth that is coating.
Rich and warming flavors first dense sweetness followed quickly by the full blown hops. Thirst is not a thirst quencher, it is a serious sipper
I'm not sure when this beer went into my collection....but I'm glad I found it. (8.3% ABV)
