Pours a hazy brown with a dark red tint. Nose is a nice blend of, sweet/tart fruit, oak, spice, vanilla, yeast. The mouth is light and crisp with carbonation reminiscent of Champagne. Flavors are very complex. Oak, tart fruit, yeast, plum, raisin, bready malt, nice warming finish. (13%ABV)
(FYI this is Brasserie Dubuisson's Scaldis Noel aged for six months in burgundy barrels from the Nuits St Georges Vineyard. It retails for $46 (ouch!) per 750ml bottle. It went really well with a leftover turkey sandwich)

Pours a hazy golden yellow with thick, sticky white head. Very yeasty nose with hints of fruit and straw. Mouth is thin and fine with very active carbonation. The yeast leads on the palate with complex flavors following. Sweet malt, specks of bitter hops, grassy spice, apricot, slight heat in the finish. (10.5% ABV)

Pours a chunky amber with thin white head. Malty nose that has components of fruit and spice. The body is medium in stature with mild carbonation. Flavor is sweet malt peppered with complex fruit and spicy funk. (9.5% ABV)

Pours a blurry burnt orange with a big, fluffy white head. Nose is lemon biscuits with herbs sprinkled on top. Mouth is light and active. Flavor starts with slightly tart apple that is quickly joined by spice and honey notes. (6.5% ABV)

Pours a rusty orange with thin lacking off white head. The nose is sweet, bready, boozy. The mouth is medium in body and quite still. Complex flavors that are all over the place, walnuts, vanilla cake, Madeira, coriander, honey. The finish long and warming. (12% ABV)

Pours a dark brown with slight red hints, wispy tan head. Heavy nose of bing cherries, balsamic vinegar, wood. Nice still mouth that is medium in body. Well balanced (better than the younger Rodenbach.) The increased percentage of older barrel aged beer counters the tart/sour flavors of the younger. Very complex but subtle flavors that include, but are not limited to: sour cherries, balsamic vinegar, wood, chocolate, cinnamon. This is a fantastic sipper if you can handle the flavor profile. (6% ABV)

Pours a nice hazy golden yellow with thick off-white head. Nice nose that includes lemon zest, spice and yeast. Lively mouth feel with a certain amount of creaminess. Somewhat sweet flavors up front, with subtle hints of spice and fruit. (8.7% ABV)

Pours a light golden/yellow color with receding white head. Mild nose of honey, clove and citrus zest. Active crisp mouth feel, medium bodied. Mild flavors that match the nose, slightly metallic bitter finish. (6.7% ABV)

Pours a dark brown with thick tan head. Nice aroma of malt, classic Belgian nose. Rich mouth feel with crisp effervescence. Great roasted malt flavors with hints of brown sugar, raisin...slightly sour? All in all a nice beer! (6.5% ABV)

Pours a bright golden yellow with bright white head. Notes of honey, floral hops and a little alcohol on the nose. Pretty dry flavor wise considering the nose. A spicy yeastiness comes through with hints of clove and biscuits. Nice finish with lingering spicy after taste. (6.5% ABV)

Pours a traditional hazy/cloudy pale yellow with thin white head. Nice nose of lemon, wheat, banana and very subtle clove. Soft mouthfeel. Very drinkable, crowd pleasing wit, but not as complex as I would like. Nice light citrus flavors with very mild spice notes poking through. Clean finish. (5% ABV)

Pours a hazy dark gold with surprisingly thin head. Not an overly aggressive nose of yeast, lemon, white pepper?. Light in the mouth with a nice crispness. Complex flavors including, but not limited to: lemon, apricot, spice, vanilla, honey. Slightly medicinal dry finish. (9.5% ABV)

Pours a bright clear golden with a thick but quickly dissipating white head. Rich warming nose of vanilla, bubble gum, clove. The mouth is somewhat thick and creamy, somewhat crisp. Flavors of vanilla, cream, some clove, a little banana. Warming rich finish. (6.6% ABV)

Pour a very hazy pale yellow with thin white head. Nice spicy nose with hint of orange and lemon peel. Light and crisp in the mouth. Very refreshing flavors of citrus and spice. Very mild but extremely complex. Wonderful, what all whites are measured against. (4.9% ABV)

Pours a rusty cloudy brown with lacking head. Slightly sour nose of malt and alcohol. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Some what disjointed flavor wise. Sweet malt, dry bitterness, not really working together. Slight heat in the finish. I wish I liked this more. (8% ABV)

Pours a cola brown with red hints. Head is thick but short lived. Nose has sour fruit (cherries) and a blend of balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce and perhaps a little Madeira wine. The mouth is light and still. This is by far one of the more unique beers that I have ever tasted. Sweet and sour without being overly tart. Clean but lingering finish. Not my favorite style but a well crafted brew. I will have to try their Grand Cru soon. (5% ABV)

Pours a brilliant burgundy red with a short lived pink head. I wish I could continue with my observations but I knocked over the bottler that knocked over he glass. What you see in the glass is all I got to try. No real chance to evaluate it. I will say I really enjoyed that one sip. If you look closely you will notice the sample sticker on the bottle. It was a gift from a friend that imports the beer. I'll have to hit him up for another bottle. Wish me luck. (5% ABV)

Pours a very active cloudy brown with quickly receding off white head. Very sweet candied nose (tootsie roll, brown sugar) with hints of citrus. Lighter in the mouth than what I would expect from the nose. Very complex flavors that seem somewhat disjointed. Citrus mixed with a yeasty breadiness coated in sweet malt. The finish is dry and lingering. I'm not blown away, the ribs were good though. (7.5%ABV)

Pours a light golden with frothy white head. Some spice and sour notes in the nose, but all in all a appealing aroma. Lively, zingy mouth... light in body though. Subtle sweetness with a spiciness that is nice, dry, mildly hopped finish. All in all a nice beverage. (7.5% ABV)

Pours a rust orange color with lacking white head. Some muted fruit on the nose. The feel is somewhat flat and lifeless. Nice balance between fruit and bitterness. I've had this beer before and fear that this bottle is slightly off.... I still drank it though. (8.4% ABV)
Didn't have much time for a shot tonight, hence it looks the way it does. Oh well there is always tomorrow.
