Beer Review: Black Diamond Brewing Company

Our beer gurus John and Justin have been busy searching out new and exciting brews for you to try. Last week they (I joined them, I can't let them have all of the fun)* tasted through the complete line from Black Diamond Brewing and we were all quite impressed. All of the beers had a subtle sense of balance and drink-ability. Their Jagged Edge IPA was the stand out for me. I can see it becoming a regularly stocked item in my beer fridge . Black Diamond Brewing is located 30 miles northeast of San Francisco. They take their name from the local coal mines that were in operation in the 19th and 20th centuries. Like many micro breweries they started out as a brew pub which allowed them perfect their recipes. In 2005 they took the leap and opened as a full fledged brewery and were quickly rewarded with a silver and gold medal at the World Beer Cup. To make it easy for you to try all of these new brews they're all available on out "Pick a six" table. CHEERS! - Mitch
